5 of us showed up, and continued doing so until, a few months later, our numbers started growing.
By the summer of 2013, the pub wasn’t big enough so we hosted our first seminar, allowing startups and thought-leaders to join the party – attracting an ever growing crowd of knowledgable and entrepreneurial spirits.
As ideas abounded and were expounded, we laid the stage for projects such as Counterparty, Ethereum, Circle, R3 and Dfinity to announce themselves to the world and were educated by industry experts such as Amir Taaki, Peter Todd, Gavin Wood, Ian Grigg and many more.
We attract people from every walk of life and pride ourselves in being open to all – whether the hardest-core computer science geek or someone who’s only just had their interest piqued by this fascinating subject and wants to find out more.
It’s been one crazy journey and we feel privileged to have been part of it and at the heart of it in London – but we know it’s still just the beginning.
We can’t wait to see what the next 10 years holds but, either way, we’ll still be here doing what we love.
